Overview
Our client is a high growth Technology business with plans for further significant growth over the next 12 months. The role is an opportunity for someone with strong experience as a Developer to join an existing team at a time of high growth and rapid technology development. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? We’re looking for a Software Developer who can follow Agile development techniques and practises to translate business requirements into solutions for internal and external customers. You’ll be driving continuous improvement within the department by streamlining processes and bringing new ideas to the table, as well as providing information to the Technical Direction team in order to assist and support the delivery/maintenance of our platform investments. WHAT WILL YOU BRING? You’ll be a strong communicator who is able to manage a demanding workload, prioritising tasks as appropriate. You’ll also have; An understanding and experience of Object-Oriented Design and Programming in an enterprise environment Extensive web development coding experience in PHP, with frameworks such as Laravel Strong web UI-level coding experience in MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript popular libraries and frameworks Experience with web security and authentication Knowledge on how to build sustainable APIs to allow integration between multiple systems (internal and external) Knowledge of continuous integration and testing aspects An understanding of system life cycles and system integration Benefits: 23 days holiday plus your birthday Bonus scheme (10%) Flexi-time policy Contributory Pension
