Overview
A Chartered firm of insurance brokers are currently recruiting a Commercial Account Handler to join their existing team in the Lancashire. This is an exciting and challenging role for someone looking to develop their career in the insurance industry. To be successful you will need to have the enthusiasm and interest in maintaining professional relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues, whilst providing excellent customer service. Working on a book of commercial business, you will be required to deliver a professional and efficient service to clients. Work will include processing renewals, re-quoting where necessary, carrying out mid-term adjustments and dealing efficiently with claims. You will also be confident in discussing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Applicants must have solid industry experience in a similar capacity - ideally with exposure to a wide variety of commercial insurance products. A conscientious approach and a strong client focus are very important. You will also be a good team player, but also highly adept at working on your own initiative. Salary will be commensurate with experience. In addition, there will be opportunities for career progression as our client continues to expand.
