Overview
My client is an exciting FinTech based in Paddington, London They are currently in the market for a Business Analyst to join their dynamic, fast paced, collaborative team ASAP, on a permanent basis. The outline of some of the role is below, but the responsibilities are not limited, and this role is really yours to shape and make your own. Key Responsibilities Conceptualise, design, construct, test and implement portions of business and technical solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology. Interacts with the end-user to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organisational strategic direction. Makes recommendations for the purchasing of packaged solutions, liaising with suppliers and consultants to ensure compliance and compatibility with existing systems. Where necessary, work closely with developers, internal and external, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Defines the scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects. Collects, identifies, defines, and organise detailed user requirements. Co-ordinates and collaborates with others in analysing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet end user needs and expectations. Confirm and priorities project plans and deliverables with the end user. Participates in the implementation, upgrade, enhancement and conversions of business and technical solutions. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyse identify and resolve business and/or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. Prepares system documentation. Establishes and maintains security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents. Provides a Help Desk function to record and prioritise calls for resolution. Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment and/or systems. Train, direct, supervise end users in the uses of information systems, and be responsible for the effective use of systems by end users. Where required, researching and developing knowledge of legacy systems and of end user developed solutions in order to provide suitable levels of support. Salary range is £45,000 - £55,000 with equity and personal growth available for the right candidate. .
