Overview
Based in Central London in state-of-the-art facilities, this is a unique opportunity for a Robotics Engineer to join a highly funded, exciting start-up company that are developing a brand-new technology, which is set to revolutionise the medical industry. This exciting new technology can utilise a range of technologies, including automation, AI, robotics and motor control. The Robotics Engineer will be responsible for supporting a medical platform, utilising robotic kinematics. Key responsibilities will be to implement motion control and create safety monitoring algorithms and design and implement interfaces for exchange. The successful candidate will have good relevant degree in either Electronics or Computer Science or a PhD in a related area. Other requirements include: C/C++ and Matlab Knowledge of Robot kinematics Haptic rendering is desirable Also experience of Continuum robot or software robotics would be beneficial.
