Overview
As the Policy and Engagement Officer, you’ll lead and support the development of new policies. Working with senior officers, benefiting local people and businesses will be at the heart of designing public consultations, and stakeholder engagement activities. Customer insight will also be crucial in your role, as you’ll advise on policy best practices and implementation. We’re looking for someone who has experience in policy research and analysis – especially in a complex organisation. Your prior knowledge in local government operations, will help you navigate the policy space here at Basildon.
