Pharmacy Technician - Prison Service Norwich £19,000 - £23,500 Pension 33 days Annual Leave Free Parking Full Time GPhC Registered Remit Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a valued client in the search for a Pharmacy Technician to join their growing team based in a Prison within the Norwich area. The role is based in a primary care environment and will involve participating in training for specialised duties including POD/SAMPOD, follow departmental procedures, assisting in stock checks in the dispensary and stores, participate in continuing education and if requested, supervising Student Pharmacy Technicians. The Candidate This is a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician looking for the next step in their career. We are looking for dynamic and professional individuals with a positive, flexible and can-do attitude to be a part of their highly successful team. The successful candidate will need to be registered with the GPhC and will need to have previous experience working in a pharmacy, ideally in a hospital setting. You will be required to have a NVQ 3 in Pharmacy Services, BTEC in Pharmaceutical services or equivalent. Requirements - NVQ3 in Pharmacy services or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Services or equivalent - Registered with the GPhC - Previous service experience - Stock control experience - Experience in counselling patients - At least 1 year pharmacy experience - Excellent communication skills - Pharmacy system knowledge Location This role is based in Norwich and is easily accessible via public transport. My client does offer Free Parking for those travelling in their own car, and this opportunity is commutable from Ipswich, Peterborough, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester and Kings Lynn.
