Part Time Receptionist - Veterinary Practice Southampton £17,000 pro rata Part Time (16 hours/24 hours available) Remit Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client to recruit for a Veterinary Receptionist to join their veterinary practice based in Southampton. This large, busy practice is newly refurbished and has 6 consultation rooms, 2 operating theatres, dental suite, isolation unit and a cat and dog ward. Their core values focus on providing a gold standard of care whilst ensuring teamwork is met by both the nurses and receptionist supporting one another. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone from a receptionist background who is passionate about animals and providing the best care. The Role The role involves working within a veterinary team being responsible for welcoming and registering new clients, booking in clients, seeing to client queries, taking payments, answering the phones, dealing with complaints and insurance forms, sending out letters and assisting customers in sensitive situations. We have currently have two vacancies, one 16 hour contract and one 24 hour contract. Both roles include evening and weekend work, so it is essential that you are willing to work such hours. The Candidate The ideal candidate must have 2 years customer service experience and previous medical reception experience which is ideally from a veterinary, animal or a dental background. They will have excellent communication skills, an outstanding telephone manner, attention to detail, initiative, compassionate and be self-motivated.
