Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hospital Radiographer to join our client's busy Department, at their large acute hospital site located in the attractive cathedral city of Chichester, West Sussex , famous for its stunning harbour . This is a full-time role but we would be interested in hearing from Radiographers seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity Our client is a leading not-for-profit provider of independent healthcare in the UK. Working with the highest calibre of Consultants and Allied Health Professionals, our client provides an exceptional standard of Diagnostic Imaging, focusing on combining the warmth of individual patient care with internationally acclaimed Medical and Surgical expertise. The department comprises; - One general / fluoroscopy room with digital cassettes - OPG machine - An image intensifier - A mobile x-ray unit. - One ultrasound room The department is open Monday - Friday, 08.00- 20.30, there is are Saturday morning clinics/theatre on occasions There is a requirement to be part of the on- call rotation. Person requirements: Hold a BSc in Radiography or equivalent with full HCPC registration. To have a minimum of one year's post-registration experience in general Hospital Radiography. Experience in supervising/mentoring junior staff. To have a good understanding of legislation relating to Radiation Protection, Infection Control and Health and Safety .
