Technical Assembler

We are currently recruiting for full time Technical Assemblers to work for an engineering based company in Taunton on a full time temporary basis. Job requirements are to assemble miniature components using microscopes and small tools, working within a clean environment. Will also be required to quality check all products against original drawings to ensure that the measurements and specifications are as per order. Due to the size and nature of the products a high level of attention to detail is essential. Suitable candidates need to be dexterous and have the ability to learn quickly, however full training will be provided to successful candidates. Good communication skills along with excellent written and verbal English language is crucial due to the paperwork which must be completed. Previous experience of precision manufacturing and inspection work is essential. Full time position, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday Working hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm Rate of Pay starts at £8.34. This is initially starting on a temporary position which could lead to a permanent contract after a successful probationary period.
