The Software Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of new and optimised Java-based business systems and applications. You will be working on a diverse range of projects and will participate in all elements of the software development lifecycle. You will also champion development best practices and will be an active member in a collaborative Scrum team. Requirements: Experience developing systems and/or applications written in Java Knowledge of Spring frameworks Database skills: Hibernate, SQL An understanding of recognised design and delivery principles and methodologies such as OO, SOLID, Agile Any experience with retail or eCommerce systems is highly desirable Office located near Accrington and easily commutable from surrounding Lancashire towns including, Blackburn, Clayton-le-Moors, Preston, Burnley, Bolton, Bury.
