The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of new and optimised Java-based business systems and applications. Additionally, as a senior member within the software development team, you will offer support and guidance to less experienced team members. You will also be required to take ownership of systems and will recommend optimal delivery processes, practices and tools for the team. Requirements: Excellent track record of developing software applications written in Java Knowledge of Spring frameworks Solid database skills: Hibernate, SQL An understanding of recognised design and delivery principles and methodologies such as OO, SOLID, Agile Experience with retail or eCommerce systems is highly desirable Office located near Accrington and easily commutable from surrounding Lancashire towns including, Blackburn, Clayton-le-Moors, Preston, Burnley, Bolton, Bury.
