At Northampton General Hospital we provide general acute services and hyper-acute stroke, vascular and renal services to people living in Northamptonshire. As well as this we are an accredited cancer centre and provide cancer services to a wider population of Northamptonshire and parts of Buckinghamshire. We are aware that many of the Medical Schools have sent Medical Students home as no training is currently taking place. We know that many of you want to help in any way you can during this current crisis and we think that you have the type of skills that can assist us to provide the best possible care for our patients. We have identified several paid roles for the different academic years of Medical School based on your learning to date and skillset and are asking for interested Medical Students to join our internal bank. We will provide induction and basic ward training, in conjunction with additional COVID training, training to support you and make you safe and protected if you do consider working with us.
