Job Title: Digital and Data Manager (Risk Management) Location: Home based with willingness to travel Salary: Commensurate with experience plus a good range of benefits Duration: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday About the role The role holder will take responsibility for developing the digital maturity and culture within Risk Management, ensuring we become “digital first and data led” through the design and delivery of the Risk Management Digital Strategy, supporting our ambition to be renowned for innovation. Key Accountabilities · To liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure that the system is compatible with the broader landscape and strategy · Support supplier evaluation and procurement · Vendor management and programme delivery · Development of Risk Management’s data science capability ensuring we become “data led” · Horizon scanning for emerging technology and driving the Risk Management innovation programme · Effectively liaise with Group Risk Management Functions in other territories as required to develop Risk Management expertise across the Ecclesiastical Group · Understand and operate within regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business · Maintain a professional and positive approach to work situations, leading change which benefits the wider business. Skills and Experience · Experience of working in a fast-paced transformation environment and with high levels of ambiguity · Great team player with experience of working transversally · Proven track record of implementing new systems · Good understanding of best practice in technological solutions, data management, quality and governance · Enquiring mind and problem solver with good business acumen · Good stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills with contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds · Flexibility and willingness to learn new techniques which help in analysing data requirements and achieving a step change in business data capabilities · ACII qualified · Other professional qualification – eg FCII, NEBOSH, MIOSH, IRM , IFE To apply, please email your CV and cover letter to us.
