Overview
Working for a large group who specialise in Supported Living Care for Adults with Physical Disabilities. As a Care Assistant you will providing some Personal Care, helping with grooming, promoting good hygiene, delivering high quality 1-1 care, encouraging independence and helping them to live fulfilling lives. Travelling to different locations in Portsmouth to deliver quality care, Minimum time per visit is 1 hour , you will be helping people with Personal Care, continence care, using the toilet and also includes washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, shopping, preparing food, helping with housework, including cleaning and laundry. Typical Shifts: Early shift typically 07.00am and the latest 11.00pm Shifts can be split from 07.00am – 11.00am, then back again for 21.00pm-23.00pm on the same day as an example. Alternate weekends As a Care Assistant- (no experience necessary ) If you are new to care, the company will help you gain the skills and experience you need as part of their comprehensive induction. They will help you reach your full potential by providing you with all your necessary training, guidance and support during your induction to achieve your Care Certificate, which is now a nationally-recognised qualification. If you already have experience working within the care industry, they will give you the opportunity to grow and learn.
