EllisKnight is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing and hugely innovative business based in Swindon, to recruit a Project Finance Manager on a permanent basis. As an experienced Project Finance Manager, you will be someone who can take a lead in implementing the finance team's strategy for raising project finance. This pivotal role is working closely with the Finance and Commercial Directors. You will have the excellent opportunity to develop this function from scratch whilst at the same time arranging debt finance for very innovative projects that are aiming to solve one of the key global challenges. To ensure a good fit from both parties, you should be looking to join a fast-growing business and enjoy working autonomously in a pressurised environment. Key Responsibilities Advise the commercial team in negotiating key contracts Identify good potential debt partners interested to fund their projects and ensure these relationships are developed accordingly. Negotiate the project financing terms and secure a debt facility for multiple projects. Support the wider finance team in developing an overall funding strategy for the organisation. Provide an active contribution to the development of the company's strategic plan for funding and evaluating the cost of debt financing options. Produce detailed cash flow financial models that identify the debt capacity of the projects and project level returns. Provide support and guidance in negotiating joint venture arrangements with commercial partners. Ensure ongoing compliance with debt covenant monitoring and reporting. Develop a debt financing package that can be offered to their customers to fund their purchase. Qualifications and Key Skills: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or CIMA) Experience of working with project finance lenders and has a good network with prospective lenders. Experience of working within a corporate, responsible for raising project finance Strong commercial awareness and the ability to interpret and build advanced financial models Strong planning and budgeting experience Proven ability of influencing and presenting at senior stakeholder level Advanced IT skills including Excel What's on offer: This exciting role is offering a salary between £65,000 - £80,000 depending on your overall experience, they have free on-site parking and excellent benefits.
