Gambling Treatment Practitioners x2 Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 p.a. – dependent on experience Full Time – 35 hours per week Location: Buckinghamshire and Peterborough GamCare is the UK’s leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling problems. Our expert services are confidential and non-judgemental. GamCare is now looking to recruit several Gambling Treatment Practitioners to work within our new problem gambling treatment services in Buckinghamshire and Peterborough. You will be working with problem gamblers and others affected by problem gambling to support them in reaching their recovery goals. Key Responsibilities include: Providing face to face and online advice, assessment, brief or structured interventions and group programmes to help clients achieve their recovery goals; Providing case management and working within an integrated care pathway; Ensuring safeguarding issues are managed effectively. You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) tools. You will form part of an enthusiastic clinical treatment team working from several locations across London, Home Counties and Lincoln as well as online. You should be versatile and adaptable and committed to on-going development. We are looking for individuals to work full time which include weekend and evenings.
