Overview
Do you have experience as an End User Services Manager (Desktop & Mobile) looking for a new challenge within a growing organisation that makes a real difference to people's lives? If so, read on. As an End User Services Manager, you will have responsibility for the the design, implementation and maintenance of end user services, including maintaining a consistent system access experience for our customers. This includes responsibility for end user security and the specification, maintenance and operation of mobile support platforms. Working with the wider Infrastructure team you will also be responsible for end user device security and the performance and maintenance of desktop software. Specifically, you will required to maintain and develop the laptop estate including but not limited to: packaging applications, windows update management, security and configuration. Alongside this, you will be required to work with your Mobile Technology Engineer and lead on delivering the MDM strategy for the business. Working from either our head office in Exeter or our purpose built office in Tolvaddon, you will be joining a team of highly skilled Infrastructure engineers supporting the business across our regions. This is a full time, permanent opportunity. To be a successful End User Services Manager you should: Have application packaging experience with Intune and SCCM Have experience of MDM solutions such as Intune and SOTI Have experience of Apple Business Manager and Android for Enterprise Have experience of Windows 10 deployment solutions, including Autopilot Have the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business colleagues. Have experience of managing a technical team. Have experience of Service Management ideally ITIL qualified Be logical and methodical approach to diagnosing and troubleshooting and solving problems. Have good knowledge of client desktop and mobile device software and operating systems. Be able to design and specify end user support systems. Be able to be proactive in identifying business needs and a can-do approach to meeting them. Have experience with planning and executing project work. Be able to engage with a variety of people at all levels & with different levels of IT skills and knowledge Be able to handle & prioritise a busy workload, juggling changing priorities. Be able to cope positively with interruptions & engage with the bigger picture of the IT service Have well-developed interpersonal skills, particularly listening, with the ability to build relationships across different teams/directorates Hold a full and valid driving licence, prepared to travel to alternative sites on a regular basis In return, we provide a generous entitlement to paid holiday increasing with length of service, a pension scheme, a healthcare cash back plan, and great opportunities and support to develop your career.
