We are now looking for a Wholesale WWS Recovery and Treatment Operations Manager for the West region to join our Wholesale Waste Water Services Team based at Tolgus Depot. What will you be doing? As our WWS Recovery and Treatment Operations Manager, you will provide exemplary leadership of the team who operate and maintain the Company’s sewage treatment works and sludge treatment, ensuring all discharges are fully compliant to Environment Agency permits, licenses and current European Legislation. You’ll be responsible for Health, Safety and Wellbeing of the delivery team and achieving the Waste Water budgets for the responsible assets in addition to achieving the Serviceability standards required by the Operations Director Waste Water. The postholder will have the responsibility of the leadership, engagement and development of Waste Water employees and colleagues to deliver a great working environment where all are valued and supported. Additionally, you’ll promote a continuous improvement culture and provide input into the preparation and delivery of annual area business plans that supports the departmental objectives and targets. Encourage innovative and creative thinking to address issues and support the team to deliver change. What do you need? Degree in relevant discipline or demonstrable education in parable technical discipline (or equivalent) Recognised Management Training and Development qualification. IOSH/NEBOSH Qualified or ability to gain qualification Experience of working in an operational leadership role Experience of holding and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets. Extensive experience of managing and leading a high performing team Proven Leadership Ability What can South West Water offer you?
