Overview
Business Manager Location: Yeovil Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum At Somerset Care, our values and culture is what makes us different. As a Business Manager, you will lead a team delivering care and support to enhance the lives of our customers. The Business Manager role is critical in the delivery of our mission. Every day you will role model leadership behaviours that create and enhance our values and lead culture. Leading, directing, supervising and supporting all staff teams, including Registered Nurses, within the service. Providing high quality, nursing residential care for our Service Users within the policy of the Company’s Quality Assurance (QA) framework. Ensuring proactive income generation to meet and exceed Company targets and maintain high levels of occupancy within the service. Promote the home proactively in the local community, ensuring the reputation is high with potential residents. Effectively manage all sales enquires, maximising the proportion of enquires that are convert to actual admissions. Ensure understanding and awareness of the home’s KPIs and consists. Adhering to and ensuring that staff works to the defined Company quality standards and ensuring that statutory requirements and Company policy and procedures are implemented. Working within a regulatory framework. Working/liaising with families and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Maintaining your Continued Professional Development (CPD), and ensuring your team maintain and develop their skills as appropriate What we need from you: Experience of leading, motivating and engaging large, dispersed staff teams in a Healthcare setting A Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin number- desirable but not essential Demonstrable business and service management skills including HR, facilities, IT Experience of working within quality assurance systems and continuous service improvement cultures Level 4 or Level 5 in Management or equivalent and will be required to achieve Registered Manager award Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
