Overview
JHE & Partners are delighted to be working exclusively with an excellent Bradford business who are looking for an experienced credit controller on a permanent basis. Due to increased turnover and profit, this is an exciting time in the company's history with future growth expected throughout 2020. Reporting to the credit manager, you will be working in a team environment overseeing your own ledger. You will be an experienced candidate well-versed in all aspects of credit control. You will have an enviable record of generating and maintaining relationships and you strive to see the job through, whatever it takes. Duties include: Chasing payments owed via telephone, email and letter Placing accounts on stop Setting limits and agreeing payment terms Credit checking new customers Producing statements Allocate payments to accounts Ensure payments are made in agreed time and ensure remittances are received Raising queries Liaising with legal team when required Statement reconciliations Analysis of accounts and reporting on Excel You will be an organised candidate who excels in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will be an effective communicator and work well in a team as well as on your own, using initiative at all times. You will have experience of hitting deadlines and understand what is required of working in a busy, diverse credit control environment. You will need to drive to access this location.
