Overview
Our client is a company operating in the heart of London, who are dedicated to supporting democracy around the world and operate in over 40 countries. As the company expands they are looking to bring in new talent - they are now recruiting for a Business Operations Adviser. The Business Operations Adviser reports to the Business Operations Manager and works across teams based in the UK and overseas. Main Responsibilities Provide support and advice on key business functions including IT, systems, office management, health & safety, risk and general operations. Support ongoing system and IT upgrade projects. Manage key corporate contracts. This covers (but is not limited to) IT services, accommodation, office equipment and supplies, travel agency arrangements, and insurance providers. Administrator for Microsoft 365 platform including actioning new starters and leavers. Act as an administrator for Microsoft SharePoint including the periodic updating of sites and responding to queries from colleagues Assist with the management of procured service contracts for accommodation, office equipment and supplies, travel, telephony, security and insurance. Arrange passes, security fobs and locker allocations for new members of staff, updating and regularly auditing relevant databases. Support the implementation of change projects, including coordinating steering group meetings. Maintain the corporate calendar - including the coordination of all-staff meetings. Person Specification Previous experience working a similar role, in a professional organisation. Good understanding of business processes including the outsource of procured services. Good technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 Platform. Experience using SharePoint and client management systems (CRM). Experience of cross-collaboration between multiple departments. Experience of procurement procedures
