Leading accountancy firm seek a Senior Accountant to join their team in Preston Your new firm A leading independent accountancy practice with multiple offices across the North West seek an accounts senior to join their fast paced team in Preston. The firm and looking to appoint an experienced individual to work with a broad and varied client base. The firm have an excellent reputation for training staff in a friendly and welcoming environment and as such are an award-winning practice. Your new role In this Preston based accounts senior job you will work in the corporate services team and you will prepare both draft annual accounts and management accounts for sole trader s, partnerships and limited companies. You will assist clients with queries on cloud accounting software, prepare & finalise tax computations, complete VAT returns and assist with junior members of staff. What you'll need to succeed The directors are looking to appoint an individual that has at least 2 years' experience working in a practice environment preparing full sets of statutory accounts. The partners will consider applicants who are either QBE, AAT qualified or ACCA / ACA part qualified. You will need to either have a strong interest or experience with clouding accounting software. To be successful in your application you will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a desire to develop your skill set.
