Overview
A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Buyer and Buyer to deliver procurement strategies for regional utility framework projects, you will: Senior Buyer - Manage the tender process for subcontract packages - Procure major materials - Meet with operational teams and deliver their buying requirements - Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategy Buyer - Support operational teams with procurement requirements - Procure materials and plant from frameworks - Negotiate with new and existing suppliers for non-framework materials Project / Category Details Various power, water and gas projects and frameworks across the North West. Candidate Requirements Our client is looking for Senior Buyers and Buyers who have strong project procurement experience from any main infrastructure or construction contractor. Senior Buyers require strong subcontract experience, whereas Buyers only require basic materials buying experience as full support is provided
