Overview

Qualified Financial Controller required for a divisional SME in Rugby. Your new company We are currently working with a subsidiary of a European listed business with their UK office based in Rugby. Your new role As Financial Controller you will take full ownership of a the UK finance function overseeing a team of 2. Reporting into the UK Managing Director and European Finance Director this is a hands on role. You will be responsible for the operational finance support to the UK business. You will oversee quarterly estimates, annual plans and financial strategy. Other duties include producing VAT returns, monthly management accounts and variance analysis. This role involves production of annual statutory accounts, working with the auditors and dealing with the HMRC. The company use Hyperion for consolidation and SAP. This is a hands on role and is looking for a technically capapble Accountant who will cover the A-Z of a finance function. What you'll need to succeed You will be a hands on Qualified Accountant, ideally with knowledge of a divisional role in a group structure. You will be able to commute to Rugby and ideally have a strong working knowledge of SAP.
