Overview
The Company: An exciting opportunity for a Ladies Multi Product Designer (Going Out) to join a Fashion Supplier who have their own brand that is growing rapidly. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 experience and be passionate about working in a fast-paced and changing environment. They have modern offices, a friendly atmosphere and a fantastic product. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. The Role: Creating a range of Ladies ‘Going Out’ clothing including Dresses, Playsuits, Jumpsuits & Skirts. Researching and developing new ranges. Complete comp shop reports, translating catwalk to high street. Undertaking trend analysis/research. Liaising with high street Buyers to develop new collections. Working to a customer’s brief in order to meet their requirements. Creating CAD’S confidently and effectively. Designing shapes, graphics and prints. Delivering products on budget. Liaising with overseas factories to ensure product requirements are clearly understood. Ensuring deadlines are achieved, critical path management. Attending meetings and presenting ranges. Developing and maintaining business relationships. Other duties as required. Skills Required: MUST have a minimum of 2 years’ Design experience. Fully CAD literate including Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign. Have a degree in Fashion Design or similar. Ability to fully understand customer requirements. Knowledge of garment construction and quality procedures. Ability to prioritise workloads. Enthusiastic team player who can work under pressure.
