Overview
Are you an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys delivering data insight and reporting? Do you have a passion for Macros and developing databases? Do you have experience of working in a fast paced, changing environment? Working as part of the Ford Customer Service Division, Engine Room team, the Business & Data Analyst will have the opportunity to provide and support the business units with data insights, business analytics and tools to help them meet their objectives. The ideal candidate will be experienced and comfortable in database development, creating macros, running reports and analysing the data, be confident presenting findings to management. Please note that the role is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2020. Your responsibilities: This role will be a very involved role within the Engine room where you will be really utilising your analytical skills as well as your IT knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access. The aim of the Business and Data Analyst is to develop databases and reports that the field team will use to support their dealers aftersales business through the Ford network. You will be analysing the data to identify any discrepancies within the data sets and trends and performance indicators. You should be able to efficiently develop automated report templates that can be run frequently without issue. ? To collaborate with and support an existing team in transforming business practices and programmes within the automotive Service Workshop environment. ? Provide information, in various formats to the District teams on various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimise Dealer participation. ? Create and manage reporting suites for business reviews with internal Management and Ford Dealers. ? Provide support to drive / maximise Dealer participation in all Programmes and business initiatives through analytical support to the field Teams. ? Assist the District Teams through ad-hoc liaison with Dealers. ? To monitor Dealer and product sales performance and to support the development of robust action plans to improve all aspects of the Dealer’s Aftersales business. Your profile: ? Proven analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and produce visualised reports - preferably within an OEM Automotive Aftersales environment ? IT literate with advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and Access ? Ability to self-motivate and work under own initiative ? Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload ? Effective time management and ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines ? Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator ? Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group is a plus ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details. ? Can demonstrate a high degree of being able to work on own initiative and motivation ? Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive personality ? Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the brand. ?
