Overview
The Company: This company is one of the leading distributors of capital equipment to the electronic engineering sector. Relationships in place with key customers already - Dyson, Rolls Royce, etc. Part of a wider engineering business. Experts in Die Attach, Wire Bonding, Die Bonding in this division. Uncapped commission structure. The Role: As the Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing key relationships with large manufacturers. All microelectronic applications. 5 calls a week dealing with complex decision making structures. Networking through trade shows and social media. Preparation of literature to aid sales within the business. This will be a home based role - roughly 2 days at home and 3 in the field. Working with customers across the UK - preferably based on the M1/M62/M6. £40k-£50k, Bonus, Car Allowance, Excellent pension scheme, Laptop, mobile and Bupa. The Ideal Person: The ideal candidate will come from an electronics background. Must have capital equipment sales experience. Degree level engineering qualification or equivalent. Happy to travel and stay away from home. Previous experience of working with microelectronics - probably as a technician or salesman. Used to long, complex sales cycles.
