Overview
Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting a multinational, market-leading engineering Group with their search for a Senior Management Accountant, based on the outskirts of Southampton. Working closely with the Divisional Finance Director, you will analyse spend across the Group, focusing specifically on research and development costs. You’ll investigate monthly capex, opex and asset depreciation, reporting your findings to senior stakeholders at various sites globally. You will also play a key role in month end close, as well as representing Finance in a number of exciting commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified, or studying towards, with the adaptability and tenacity to work in ever evolving organisation. You will also have varied systems knowledge, strong Excel skills and be a great communicator. Due to this job being newly created, there will be significant scope to make the role your own. You will be expected to be in their Surrey office for 1-2 days per week, but in return they will offer flexible working conditions and the opportunity to regularly work from home.
