Profile description: This is a highly responsible role sitting within the senior management team. It involves all aspects of the company’s financial management both in UK and France Principle Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting preparation process, compiling all required data for annual financial performance assessment, price and cost modelling and analysis, to agree policies and budgets for next financial year Continually manage cash flow reporting and analysis in all currencies with regular reporting to the management team on the cash position of the business Produce regular weekly and monthly management information and business KPI reports for the Management team, to monitor and continually review financial performance Produce monthly management accounts, including detailed review of supplier reconciliations, accruals, posting journals, managing prepayments and deferred income, balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and manage financial forecasting projections alongside monthly accounts, assessing performance and variances to budget, to ensure accurate year end projections Payslips and bank payments are logged for French employment law inspection compliance Manage all business banking through internet-based systems (UK and France), authorising payments as required, ensuring all accounts funded as required Confident, able to react and prioritise based on business demands and needs Clear understanding of impact of financial risk on business performance Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and lively team, interacting with other departments as required Absolute accuracy and highly numerate, with a highly organised approach to work Excellent understanding of Xero accounts software IT literate, with an advanced level of Excel and Microsoft skills Ability to analyse, interrogate and interpret financial data. Ability to develop systems and processes to suit the company’s needs
