Lead Electrical / Electronic Design Engineer (Aerospace) Permanent - Full Time Cheltenham About the role: Currently we are working a world-leading provider of commercial, military, business and general aviation jet and turboprop engines as well as avionics, electrical power and mechanical systems for aircraft. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver interested with relevant industrial experience and an ability to communicate effectively. They are looking for a Lead Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer to work within the new product introduction test equipment design team. This role provides hardware design services to deliver test systems used in the manufacture, engineering, systems testing, and qualification of aviation power products and components. What does the role involve? Understand the product and required product testing approach for Electronic and Electromechanical Assemblies. Perform top level architectural design of the test solution. Capture the requirements for Off-the shelf and Special-to-Type test equipment. Provide technical oversight of the detail design. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor of Science in and engineering subject or other equivalent knowledge and experience. Experience in electrical/electronic hardware design What else do I need to know?
