Our Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists to join our Insurance practice, focusing on complex technology change enablement programmes for our London Market clients. The Business Analyst for Insurance Services will have the responsibility to work with our clients to understand business challenges and help design appropriate solutions drawing upon our technology strengths.This role is expected to work with our high profile clients. Being a business Subject Matter Expert to our delivery teams, this role is required to contribute to the solution development and definition, delivery excellence, project, programme planning, and risk management and to assist with the in managing client expectations and to raise and assist in resolving scope, design and solution issues. Reporting into the managing Client Partner for London Market portfolios, and working with a strong client facing team, there is significant scope for professional development to understand multiple technologies, all aspects of insurance and complex stakeholder management skills by working across multiple accounts and multiple projects. Principle Responsibilities Delivery Management · Serves as a hands-on onsite Subject Matter Expert · Pre-emptively and proactively identifies and addresses delivery risks · Resolves solution / design issues and escalations · Performs root cause analysis and top-down solution design Responsibilities · Facilitating workshops with the business to define project scope or elicit business requirements · Facilitating workshops to define As-Is and To-Be business processes · Gap analysis · Documenting business requirements in a BRD/user stories · Create user documentation; process flows, step by step instructions and workflows. · Prepare Training Material · Handover documentation for production support team What you’ll bring · Proven track record as Business Analyst with experience in designing and supporting complex technology solutions and change programmes – heavily biased towards technology implementations and services outsourcing or improvements · Experience in LONDON MARKET Insurance domain. Experienced with the complexities of processes, data, and migration · Experience of one or more of the underwriting, policy admin or claims solution platforms in the LONDON MARKET, ideally with a reinsurance provider · Ideally experienced in working within or with an onsite-offshore model · Consultancy experience preferable and good stakeholder management · Excellent engagement and communication skills · Highly skilled in mapping business processes · Full project life-cycle experience - with demonstrable knowledge of different methodologies such as waterfall, agile · Extensive experience of business requirements definition and the prioritization of requirements; · Experience in designing workflows and procedures; · Relationship Management: Facilitates resolution of conflicting requirements and builds strong working relationships with stakeholders; · Ability to present information in an influencing manner to leadership and business stakeholders; · Self-motivated, actively seeks responsibility and driven to achieve results · Strong planning and organizational skills including the ability to utilize effective time management in order to meet deadlines; · Ability to multi task and be detailed oriented; · Interpersonal skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a project team. · Creative thinker, able to quickly analyse complex problems and identify appropriate solutions underpinned by logic and analytic approach This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89691086
