My client is a Global Leader in the Oil & Energy Industry and they are seeking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their team in Poole, Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to be a part of a dynamic team in a position that will have close communication and interaction with all aspects of the business departments including engineering, supply chain, shipping and service in order to ensure timely completion of orders. Typical Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible to deliver Projects on-time, on budget and to the required quality Produce and review specifications to meet Clients and Class requirements Participate in meetings with the Clients, Classification Societies and Suppliers as required Produce and update Invoicing schedules and management reports for all managed Projects Produce and maintain Project plans and produce Progress Reports Ensure all parts are defined correctly for procurement Review and approve all procedures from Sub-Vendors Ensure Project Documents are produced and submitted on time and manage Approvals and Close-outs of comments Liaise will all departments as and when necessary to ensure all Project targets are met Ensure all queries from Client are dealt with in an efficient manner Ensure all queries during Commissioning of equipment are dealt with in a timely fashion Attend meetings with Management as and when necessary at end of Projects The appointed candidate will provide technical support to technicians and sales team, ensuring order executions are performed in line with company and department policies and procedures. Skills & Experience required: Familiar with ERP systems used to facilitate project execution Proven experience of accurate and timely execution of projects To be commercially aware as to maximize Project Margins HNC/ HND level qualification in science or engineering or above Competent with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Experience preferred: Experience with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment. International supply of equipment. Masters/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent Project Engineering/ Management experience in the Marine Industry To be considered for the position, applicants must be fully eligible to live & work in the UK without restrictions.
