Binding Authority Technician, City, Salary up to £45,000 niche Lloyd's Broker. Your new company Your new job as a Binding Authority Technician will be working for a dynamic Insurance and Reinsurance Broker based in the City. Due to substantial growth within their Technical and Binding Authority team a permanent position for a Binding Authority Technician has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician means you will be responsible for providing support and general development on all aspects of the Company for existing and new Clients/Coverholders. This will be a Client facing role and will include the provision of technical support to clients via the producers and business units. Supporting the production, maintenance and administration of new and existing Binding Authorities, Lineslips and other Delegated Authority business. You will also be developing and maintaining relationships with Coverholders, Underwriters and other third parties as well as extensive liaison with and existing clients and Underwriters. Other duties will include production all front-end technical documentation What you'll need to succeed Your previous extensive experience working within the London Market Insurance as Binding Authority Technician dealing with Non Marine Business. You will be conversant with all Lloyd's systems and requirements for Binding Authorities and Line Slips. Experience of coverholder applications from start to approval, annual compliance and attestation processes. Knowledge of Lloyd's - Atlas, BARS, Crystal will be advantageous. . Ideally you will have experience of handling of all Binder risks. You will have proven experience and understanding of Lloyd's and London Market processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships are a must. You will also be a proficient user of Microsoft Office to include: Outlook, Word and Excel.
