Are you looking to settle into a Senior Manager Role at a prestigious Top 50 Accounting Firm local to you? Based in the heart of Berkshire, one of my most established clients are looking to enhance their Accounts and Audit team. Due to an increased volume of business, they have taken on several new staff members and need an additional member on the senior management level. Your duties and tasks Supervising teams of 3-10 junior staff members on engagements across various industries; reviewing and signing off their work. Corrective action with the client; analysing and presenting completed audit files to the partners and the clients. Maintaining relationships with your inherited portfolio of clients with turnovers of up to £125 million Financial management of client accounts, billings of your portfolio will approach £1 million per annum Bringing new clients onboard and contributing to the success of the business Identifying key controls, assessing controls for design deficiencies and updating processes. Client assignments: supervising in-house preparation and audit process on clients’ premises Ensuring board-approved directives are implemented and organising proper workflows, controls and internal and external follow-ups are followed About you You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of audit and/or management experience You will have experience with accounting software packages such as CCH, Sage and Xero. Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAP, IFRS and FRS reporting standards Meet the team Because of increased activity particularly on this side of their accounting business, our client has an immediate need for more team members.
