Overview

My client based in Hayes, Middlesex has been established for 40 years now and they manufacture high quality precision products for aircraft industry and all their work is produced to a very high specification and finish. Role They now require another Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker to join their team. My client works with mainly aluminium and stainless steel and nearly all of their jobs are to a 0.01” limit ( 0.25mm ). Thus you must be able to work to very fine tolerances from 16 gauge down to 22 gauge in both aluminium and stainless steel. You will be required to work from customer’s drawings with minimum supervision mainly on short runs of between 1 to 10 products, but occasionally they do get longer runs. Whilst working in an open plan workshop, you must be able to work on your own and follow a job through from start to finish. You should be able to grind off welds and polish to a ‘client facing’ finish. You must also be experienced in working on the following machines: Press Brake Punch Press Guillotine Punch machine Package Start ASAP Duration Permanent with a 3 month probation period Hourly Rate £15.00 an hour on a PAYE basis which equal £31,200 per annum Hours Standard hours are 40 a week Times Monday to Thursday 8.00am till 4.30pm With 30 minutes lunch and 15 minute break in the morning and 15 minute break in the afternoon Friday 8.00am till 4.00pm With 30 minute lunch break and just one 15 minute break Holidays 20 days plus the 8 Bank Holidays Pension Stakeholder Pension
