Overview
Business Systems Analyst- SD/ SQL A leading financial organisation are looking for a Business Analyst to focus on their Supervisory Dashboard (SD) applicatio and FX Global Code. Daily Responsibilities: Work with limited supervision to elicit requirements using interviews, technical analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions and use cases Develop requirements specifications to provide innovative solutions to business challenges Facilitate validation of requirements and designs with business and technical staff Act as the liaison between the business unit, technology teams and support teams for product delivery Plan and conduct system testing and provide guidance to users on testing process to facilitate business validation and acceptance of application systems Certifications: University degree (preferably Engineering or Computer Science) What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role and in what capacity will the successful candidate be using it? SQL and Excel (must have) and wire-framing tools (nice to have) to work with source system data and propose intuitive/informative report and screen designs Must Have Skills/Experience (in order of priority): At least 6 or more years of experience as a business systems analyst Strong experience with web applications, reporting, and/or system integration projects Experience within Capital Markets Ability to work independently, deliver on tight timelines and the ability to handle ambiguity Nice to Have Skills/Experience: Knowledge/experience with FX business, Trade Supervision, or Regulatory Compliance Wireframe and prototype design tools Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) Wire-framing tools
