Overview

Join a small Stockport based firm as an accounts senior supporting the partners. Your new firm A well established small accountancy firm, based in Stockport are seeking an accounts senior to join their team. The firm offer a partner led service to a varied client portfolio from small family businesses to large companies and groups, including many professionals. Your new role As an Accounts Senior you will be responsible for supporting the partner with the delivery of their portfolio. You will be responsible for preparing statutory and non statutory accounts for a range of clients and also lead on a handful of audit assignments. You will liaise with clients on a regular basis and also help to train the junior members of the team. What you'll need to succeed The partners are looking to appoint an experienced general practice senior who has a solid grounding in accounts preparation, auditing and taxation work. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills as you will be liaising with clients on the phone and face to face. The firm are open to candidates who are ACA or ACCA qualified or someone who is qualified by experience. What you'll get in return If successful you will join a friendly team in open plan offices.
