Overview
My client is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions organisation that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path of growth. My client works with a variety of household brands across a range of industries, including airlines, banks, drinks companies and high street retailers. My client is now recruiting a C# .NET Developer to join the vibrant, innovative, growing business unit. This is the ideal time to join the team as they increasingly focus on cloud/SaaS solutions, upgrading existing products to new technologies and modern UX, as well as developing new applications. To be considered for either the C# .NET role, you will work as part of a skilled, dedicated and close knit scrum team working on exciting, greenfield projects and play a key role creating new business features and enhancing existing code, whilst ensuring the product continues to meet high levels of reliability, maintainability, usability and performance. Essential Skills: Proficient in C# (or similar object-oriented language) and .NET framework Web development using ASP .NET MVC, JavaScript, Bootstrap and CSS (or similar skills) Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL or other SQL querying language Version control systems (Microsoft Team Foundation Server, GIT or other) NUnit (or other unit testing frameworks) CI and CD Understanding of good database design Writing APIs Key Responsibilities: Writing, testing and refactoring code (C#, JavaScript, SQL) Meeting with Product Owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria Debugging code to identify defects Suggesting improvements to current processes or legacy systems Working with the business to test and evaluate applications Providing 2nd level support to legacy software Keywords: C# .NET, Object oriented design, SQL, JUnit, GIT, Test driven development, Continuous integration, Continuous Delivery __________________________________________________________________________________________ Unfortunately due to time restrictions we cannot respond to every applicant, in the event that we haven’t contacted you within 48 hours please take it you have not been successful for this particular role, but your details will be kept on file and considered for all future vacancies We are acting on behalf of the client as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy We are an equal opportunities agency and welcome applicants from all backgrounds
