Kitchen Sales Designer Based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire Permanent Basic salary of £25,000 dependent on experience & OTE earnings up to £30k Working Monday to Friday 9 - 5 with alternate Saturdays 9 - 4 DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE An exciting opportunity has been made available at a fantastic, independently run kitchen & bathroom company in Dunstable We are recruiting for a Kitchen Sales Designer who has experience in the planning, designing and selling of kitchens - you will be on hand to assist from the first, initial enquiry right through to the completed project. This company prides itself on its excellent customer service and the fact that a lead, and therefore lasting business, can come in from anywhere (someone walking into the showroom or calling in) therefore fantastic people skills are essential, as well as a good track record of growing sales. Experience in designing and selling bathrooms would also be beneficial but not essential in this role. Main duties/responsibilities of the role: Proactive sales approach, able to generate your own leads Good knowledge of business and systems Providing excellent customer service over the phone and in person Preparing project briefs and creating quotations Conduct surveys at client's home when required Design inspiring kitchen with clear specification and outstanding attention to detail Manage customer projects from initiation to completion Liaise with fitting teams and project manage installations Place and track purchase orders and deliveries Address day to day queries Check-in goods and deliveries Help develop the online presence and increase virtual sales Provide regular social media posts to help further connect with customers online Continually research new products and designs Maintaining relationships with our suppliers Experience and skills required: Candidates will need to have experience of CAD. Knowledge of 'Virtual Worlds' and 'Easy Quote' would be advantageous A thorough understanding of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word A thorough knowledge and understanding of kitchen products Ability to work on own initiative Good command of English, both written and spoken Excellent telephone manner Good standard of general organisation and housekeeping Bathroom sales experience would also be of benefit Response Personnel, an independently owned company and experts in recruitment since 1997.
