The Graduate Programme We are always looking for the brightest and best talent and offer a strong career path for graduates. We give our Graduates the opportunity to develop the skills to manage, operate and flourish in a multi-cultural environment, by exposing them to different business cultures. The programme will start in September 2020, you will undertake an intensive 2-week induction and training programme, during which you will receive a thorough overview of our business as well as technical product knowledge. After this you will spend your first 12 months undertaking placement(s) in our Application Support Team in Slough where you will immediately have direct contact with our extensive customer base. This will give you an excellent grounding in our core products and the UK market. You will then have rotation opportunities. You will have the opportunity to undertake a 6 month placement at a COINS office in the US, which will give you the opportunity to work in different markets and widen your internal network. In your last 6-months, we will work with you to plan the next stage of your career and you will transition into your permanent role, which could be in the UK or in one of our international offices, continuing your career path to our Senior Management Team. What you’ll need You will be either in your final year of university, or a very recent Graduate (2018 or 2019). You’ll need an IT, Management, Business Studies, Accounting, Finance or Construction related degree at a minimum 2:1 or predicted 2:1. You will need to be customer focused as you will have constant contact with the external COINS client base. Your verbal and written skills will be of a particularly high calibre. You will need to be responsible and professional as well as possessing the ability to problem solve, trouble shoot and evaluate solutions. You must be well organised, detail orientated and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. You must be IT literate, proficient in excel and outlook and have an appreciation of IT security issues. You will be commercially aware with a keen understanding of the criticality of finance and accounting to business and comfortable with the idea of working internationally and across different business cultures. What we offer As well as a salary of £25-28 k you will receive 25 days holiday, health care, pension and bonus opportunity. You will be allocated a mentor for the duration of your placement and you will have the opportunity to meet regularly with our Graduate Recruitment Manager for coaching. You will have autonomy and responsibility from the start. There will be hands on practical experience, as well as plenty of opportunities to network, work on different projects and gain a whole range of skills. Our goal is for you to gain an overview of the business, as well as exposure to different countries and business cultures, so that you can build a long-term career with us either in the UK or in one or more of our international offices. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with the COINS Foundation which is our not for profit arm, focused on using business to build a sustainable future.
