We are on the lookout for an experienced Operations Team Leader to join us on our growth journey and disrupt the energy industry with us. Our new Installation services for Solar panels, batteries and EV charge points is helping to save homeowners money while helping customers do their bit in the fight against climate change. Your role will be to help our customers become more energy independent through delivering our Solar & battery installation service. You will need to be excellent at dealing with customers on the phone, comfortable at managing a CRM, organised and capable of completing complex processes such as completing system designs, producing quotes and managing an installation service through to delivery. The key to success of this role will be your ability to put the customer at the centre of everything you do, your attention to detail and your focus on the team, ensuring that your team are well-organised and productive. Requirements What you’ll be doing Key Responsibilities: Support new members of the team to grow their knowledge, facilitating development plans and giving a contribution to training Have proven team management/leader experience in a fast-paced environment and proven ability to motivate and organise a team to maintain high moral Handling and nurturing customers from new leads through to completion. This includes but is not limited to initial quotation and system design, kit matching, management of the installation and supply chain, scheduling, completion of industry applications and handling finances Support the integration of new services, products and operational processes to continually improve the business Overcome challenges to installation, delays to product deliveries, and complex properties requiring a more bespoke service Provide reporting as and when required by management Assist with the development of process and documentation Ensure total compliance within our CRM Work with various parts of the business to resolve issues, contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Candidate Profile: You love what you do and have professional experience within a high volume / data driven environment You have strong people management skills and enjoy coaching and working with your team to deliver high performance You are a born leader, with confident and clear communication skills Ability to deliver process improvement to improve efficiency A flexible approach with strong problem-solving skills Basic IT skills (databases, CRM’s, MS Office etc) Must have some prior knowledge of energy, renewables or electrical design. Prior experience within the UK residential solar and energy storage market desirable Strong belief in excellent customer service and confident dealing with customers via email, phone and CRM software Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation, third party suppliers and installers. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively A strong drive for process improvement and a willingness to take the initiative Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required A passion to change the way we use energy on the grid, helping people make the shift away from fossil fuels towards cleaner energy.
