Overview

Registered home manager role, based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Your new company An exciting job opportunity has occurred within a residential care home that is looking for a registered home manager. Your new company provides nursing and personal care to adults over the age of 65. Some of the residents have dementia. This home has received an overall "Good" rating from CQC and are looking for a Registered Manager to come in and obtain the high quality of care. Your new company is passionate about providing a friendly and caring environment for their residents. The residential care home you will be overseeing currently has 44 residents. Your new role Your new role will be to complete the duties and responsibilities of a Registered Manager. A key responsibility as Registered Manager is to provide a safe and secure environment for the residents and staff members. As Registered Manager you must be ensure that the home meets the requirements of CQC and current legislations. You will have to ensure that Infection Control and Safeguarding Policies and Procedures are implemented and that all records are accurate and up to date. In your new role you will be expected to work 37.5 hours a week, flexibility is required due to the nature of the role. What you'll need to succeed You will need experience as a Registered Manager (or similar experience) with Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willing to complete. To be successful you must have experience with care of the elderly or dementia. You will have experience with CQC. To be successful you will be flexible, good at communication and great administration skills. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills and have a clean driving license. What you'll get in return What you will get in return in your new role: Up to £52,000 per annum depending on experience. You will receive 33 days annual leave including bank holidays.
