Financial Controller

Role - Financial Controller Location - Stockport Salary - £47,000 - £53,000 benefits FJR Finance is recruiting for a fast-growing manufacturing and distribution business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their office based just north of Stockport. The Financial Controller will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background. The ability to manage and develop a finance team is critical and you will need advanced Excel skills. Any exposure to working within a manufacturing organisation would be a distinct advantage. Exposure to dealing with senior management and challenging where appropriate is essential and you will need to be prepared to be 'hands on' and communicate well with different divisions. A background of working with SAP would also be extremely beneficial Key duties for the Financial Controller will include: - Budgeting and forecasting - Year-end accounting - Balance sheet reviews - Liaising with and being the financial representative for auditors, banks, tax partners etc. - Business partnering and producing reports for various departments - Creation and roll out of KPI analysis - Completion of management accounts - Profit and loss analysis - Management of a small finance team - Ad-hoc project work Salary is anywhere between £47,000 - £53,000 and additional benefits This innovative and exciting business is going to experience a real growth in 2020 and they are looking for a dynamic and personable Financial Controller to report into the CFO.
