MR34: Transport Consultant (Planner) Location: Basingstoke Salary: Competitive Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Transport Consultant (Planner) to join our client based in Basingstoke. Applications from ex-military personnel are actively encouraged however, all applicants will be given due consideration. Duties and responsibilities: Preparation of Transport Assessments and Statements Junction modelling and preliminary design Travel Planning, Travel Demand Management, Travel Behavioural Change Public realm, space planning and master-planning Transport input to environmental impact assessments Skills and qualifications: Be degree qualified Have a good understanding of the principles of transport planning Good presentation and technical writing skills The ability to manage their own time to meet project deadlines. Familiarity with relevant software e.g. TRICS, JUNCTIONS 9 and LINSIG is desirable. Location: Basingstoke Salary: Competitive
