Overview
Holt Engineering would love to hear from experienced Buyers with manufacturing/engineering experience who are wanting to use their skills to strengthen a procurement function due to growth. Client: I am working closely with a client who is one of the world's leading system developers and suppliers to the automotive industry. With a fantastic modern working environment with a real family culture, this company wants all employees to succeed and develop. Position: The Buyer will be based in Ringwood which has great access from both Bournemouth or Southampton. The buyer will join a small team and look after procurement tasks ranging from supplier negotiation to sourcing new products. Responsibilities of Buyer: Supplier negotiation Managing supplier contracts Internal liaison to identify needs Reviewing existing pricing Sourcing new products and suppliers Ensuring adherence to systems and processes Experience required for Buyer: 3 years procurement experience Manufacturing/Engineering background Strong communicator Hardworking For more information please apply with an up to date CV or contact Peter Kimber for more information.
