As part of this programme we are changing the way we deliver services for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Your new role We are looking for a Local Offer and Co-Production Assistant to join the SEND service on a full time, permanent basis. You will support the Local Offer and Co-Production Officer to ensure that the requirements of the SEND Code of Practice and all other relevant legislation are met. As a Local Offer and Co-Production Assistant, you will support with the facilitation of and attendance at events and meetings such as Local Offer of Provision Review Group, SEND Student Forum, Parent events, Engagement activities, SENCO Clusters etc. You will be efficient and provide multi-skilled administrative support according to the needs of the team. You will also promote the effective use of social media to increase people’s awareness of the Local Offer website and the services available locally. This will include daily monitoring of the social media accounts and responding to feedback. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, it is vital that you have sound knowledge of web systems including social media and content management systems. You need to be proficient in using information technology, be well organised and be able to prioritise and meet deadlines. Experience in developing promotional and information materials is essential for this role. Experience of writing for the web and social media will be highly advantageous but not essential.
