Overview
Rand Associates are a Building and Quantity Surveying organisation operating across the UK, with a Head Office in Reigate, Surrey. We work primarily with the social housing sector and always aim to deliver a high-quality product within given time scales. We are looking for a Condition/Building Surveyor to work within our expanding Building Surveying Department from our Reigate offices. It is envisaged that the role would initially be focused on conducting stock condition surveys. Over time, we would expect this to be expanded to include conducting asbestos surveys, production of energy performance certificates, Disability Discrimination Act audits, supervision of works, advising clients on defects/repairs, amongst other duties. The Surveyor will be a key part of a small team and will therefore need to demonstrate an ability to work closely with others. Whilst on site, the Surveyor will most often be working alone, and will therefore also need to be able to work in a responsible, logical manner. The right candidate should have a minimum of an HNC in a related discipline, and the salary offered will reflect the levels of qualification and experience.
