Overview
Paraplanner Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a established financial services company with a friendly team based in their Sheffield office. Main Duties: The key purpose of the Paraplanner role will be to provide bespoke technical support to a team of successful IFAs who have long standing loyal relationships with both private and commercial entities. You will examine existing investment, pension and protection arrangements, assess risk profiles and research the market to create technical bespoke recommendations on portfolios. You will create professional suitability reports and letters tailoring each to the clients’ own circumstances and needs, therefore an excellent grasp of the English language is essential. You will ideally have experience in industry software and be fully competent in desktop applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook. In return for experience and hard work, a competitive salary will be on offer which will be commensurate with experience, qualifications and performance at interview. Key Skills: Previous experience providing technical paraplanning support to Financial Advisers is essential as are excellent communication skills, verbal and numerical ability and a keen eye for detail. Candidates will ideally be Level 4 Diploma qualified with excellent knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
