Management Accountant Based in Staffordshire £30,000 DOE Manufacturing experience essential Your new company Your new company are well known in their field and are looking for a dynamic Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Your new role The job will entail all aspects of financial management including management/plant accounting, budget control and input into cost cutting and profit enhancing projects. The Management Accountant will be a strong communicator with attention to detail and will report in to the Group Financial Controller. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to; Preparing weekly and monthly management accounts Variance analysis to budgets Internal audits Management and development of financial systems and policies Preparation and management of the annual audit Preparing statutory returns including VAT. PAYE and Intrastat Participation and contribution at department and project meetings Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues What you'll need to succeed Proven working experience as a Management Accountant Manufacturing experience Part qualified or newly qualified CIMA or ACCA qualification Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience of stock accounting and standard costs Excellent analytical and numerical abilities including in Excel Strong team player Accuracy and an eye for detail Excellent oral and written communication skills What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of c.£30k depending on experience, pension scheme, on site parking and an excellent working environment.
