Job in a nutshell We are looking for an experienced SEO manager to join our Marketing team. As key part of the acquisition team at Nutmeg, the SEO Manager will lead all aspects of search engine optimisation, including: Implement the overall SEO strategy including technical & onsite optimisations, as well as offsite link building campaigns. Effectively manage SEO agency to ensure they are delivering against project timelines and hitting agreed KPIs. Maintaining effective working relationships with product, content & PR teams to deliver against business targets and KPI’s. Auditing the website, identifying issues, finding root-cause, and experimenting with solutions in order to improve SEO performance. Troubleshooting site issues and either fixing directly or via product and engineering teams Conducting keyword research and setting up keyword strategies. Track, report and compare SEO campaign performance data from SEO campaigns and strategies. Provide a comparison of top-ranking sites and provide actionable insight. Requirements Your skills Technical SEO expertise. Experience of developing and implementing SEO content & editorial strategies. Strong knowledge of link building strategies. Strong bias towards action. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written. Understanding of industry recognised optimisation and research tools, such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Hotjar or Crazy Egg, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Optimizely (Classic and X), MOZ, Ahrefs, Searchmetrics and other. A self-starter Above all else a strong can-do attitude drive to achieve amazing results and overcome obstacles quickly. You might also have Knowledge of investment products and the savings and investment industry in general. Previous experience of the full digital marketing channel mix would be helpful. Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript would be a plus.
